Davis' Drug Guide for Nurses is the best drug database I've ever used.

The Nursing Implementation section gives great tips and a comprehensive syringe and Y-site compatibility and incompatibility resource. You can access Time/Action profiles, US and Canadian brand names and a lot more. I use it at the bedside every shift.

How many times have you needed to look up some quick fact about a med and the only available drug guide on the floor was about 2 years old and didn't found the med you were looking for?

With Davis Drug Guide installed on my PDA, I not only have the info at my fingertips, but I have the latest information about the med I am looking for. The PDA version of Davis Drug Guide is super easy to navigate and has all the information of the hard back book of the Davis Drug Guide.
I highly recommend this program for all nursing students as well as any other health professional that may need to look up med
